Funding Applications are Now Available

Every year SPIN provides funding to a maximum of $1500 for groups/organizations to offer programs or events to make Brandon and area suicide-safer. For more information and applications, contact us at info@spinbrandon.ca Application deadline for 2021 is July 31.

BUDDY UP Campaign Month of June

The Centre for Suicide Prevention has once again released the Buddy Up campaign for the month of June. It is a men’s suicide prevention communications campaign: a call to action to men, by men.


As Manitoba has now increased the public health safety criteria, PMH plans to reschedule this training in the future.

SafeTALK – Suicide Alertness for Everyone – call SPIN to inquire about this free 3-hour training – We can arrange for your group!

SafeTALK is a three-hour Living Works program that teaches community members to recognize persons with thoughts of suicide and connect them to suicide first-aid resources.
